Overview

The Associate Product Manager - UI (APM-UI) will play a key role in driving the design and deployment of new features for our UI applications by working closely with customers, software developers, QA testers, Product Managers, and internal stakeholders to develop creative solutions to address our customers’ needs.

 

The APM will develop a strong grasp on the underlying value of each feature and how it impacts key metrics of the product related to revenue, customer acquisition and retention and be able to justify their implementation against competing features and priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and address key issues and opportunities for improvement in our UI applications.
  • Write detailed specifications for new features that add value to customers and improve the user experience.
  • Collect internal feedback on new features to ensure company satisfaction with planned implementation.
  • Work with the Development and Quality Assurance teams to ensure that features are implemented as specified.
  • Work with the Marketing and Customer Care teams to help prepare outbound communication efforts for new features.
  • Train company stakeholders on the benefits and use of new features.
  • Solicit customers for feedback on recently-deployed and potential new features.
  • Contribute to the overall Product Vision and Roadmap.

Qualifications

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical setting – candidates from a top university with a degree in Math, Engineering, or Business will also be considered.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to changes and new ideas.
  • Keen eye for UI/UX design.
  • Passionate about building better products.
  • Prior experience in writing functional/product specifications is a plus.
