Overview is seeking a Help Desk Associate System Administrator with help desk experience and an excellent customer service attitude. The Help Desk Associate System Administrator is vital to the IT workforce, and is responsible to help keep the technologies the organization relies on to do business current, and running smoothly.

The Help Desk team helps ensure that contacts are properly categorized, prioritized and documented and that affected customer equipment is referenced is the leading provider of Internet-based mailing and shipping solutions.’s PC Postage service enables small businesses, shippers, enterprises and consumers to print U.S. Postal Service-approved postage right from their home or office with just a PC, printer and Internet connection. The Company currently has PC Postage partnerships with Avery Dennison, Microsoft, HP, the U.S. Postal Service and others. also sells PhotoStamps which enables customers to create fully customizable and valid PhotoStamps postage that contains their own digital photograph or business.


The Help Desk Associate System Administrator's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting services to end-users who need assistance with their computer hardware or software
  • Communicating solutions to both technical and non-technical end-users
  • Setting up user workstations
  • Maintaining and updating:
    • Active Directory
    • Exchange server and Outlook
    • PC, laptop, phone, and printer hardware
    • IMAP/ISA for iPhone and android phones
    • Enterprise Server
    • Ethernet networking, DHCP, and DNS
    • The ticket tracking system


Education and/or Experience:                                                             

  • High School diploma or G.E.D
  • Bachelors' degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of One (1 ) year experience providing on-site desktop support in a corporate environment
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Windows (desktop and server) installation and use; including
    • Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

 Skills and Knowledge:

  • An understanding of Active Directory users, computers, file and printer shares, and group policy.
  • A drive to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion including QA before and during delivery to the end user.
  • Ability to work effectively using only phone or email when required by remote users
  • Strong ability to adapt to changing priorities and demonstrate a sense of urgency to focus on the most pressing issues first.
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to work effectively with power users and novices alike.
  • Demonstrable time management and organization skills and a drive to excel.

 Computer/Software/Application Proficiency:                                                   

  • Microsoft Windows (desktop and server) installation and use; including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Flexibility with regard to work hours, including possible (albeit rare) unplanned overtime
