    About the Role:


    The Financial Operations Senior Analyst will work within the Financial Operations Group.  Using SQL, Excel, and other tools, you will analyze transactional data relating to payment processing, billing, and invoice generation.   You use these analyses to report on our systems and suggest changes to improve their reliability, accuracy, and profitability. This role reports directly to the VP, Finance.

    The Financial Operations group at ensures that money is properly collected from and credited to the hundreds of thousands of customers of and its subsidiaries. This includes automated recurring billing and invoice generation, payment processing, credit extension, fraud prevention and more.

    Key Goals:


    • Perform strategic analysis to grow revenue
    • Extract financial data from various e-commerce and reporting systems
    • Perform financial analyses and periodic reporting for senior management
    • Measure and manage risk relating to services billed in arrears
    • Design our payment collection methodology
    • Optimize revenue collection billing design for new products and services
    • Execute recurring revenue collection functions
    • Work with Business Intelligence & software development teams to automate collections and reporting
    • Simplify accounting where possible


    You Need:


    • Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, offset, basic array formulas)
    • Working knowledge of SQL including joins, sub queries, and temp tables
    • Familiarity with data munging and basic regex
    • Must have basic statistics skills
    • Ability to explain advanced concepts at different levels within the organization
    • Knowledge of PCI and payment processing a plus

    Experience and Education Requirements:

    • A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field like Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent.
    • At least two (2) years of post-graduation experience in e-commerce, or financial analysis, or software development for accounting, e-commerce, or financial analysis.
    • E-Commerce and or Logistics experience is preferred.
