    Stamps.com’s Finance team is responsible for driving strategic and financial decision-making processes across the Company. We partner with Senior Management and business unit leaders to analyze and drive long-term business performance. 

     

    The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in providing insightful analyses about the company’s financial and operating performance to Senior Management. The analyses will directly aid Senior Management in their decision making processes to meet annual budgets and achieve long-term strategic plans.

    Responsibilities

    Primary Objectives:  

    1. Financial analysis
    2. Data management
    3. Drive process improvement to scale long-term financial planning

    Essential Position Duties:

    • Maintain and update the financial and operational data sets in the reporting system to ensure data integrity
    • Assist in designing financial reports and models for financial analysis, monthly forecasts and reporting
    • Analyze financial results, distill and synthesize issues, communicate key messages to Senior Management
    • Work with business units to conduct ad-hoc analyses to deliver business insights
    • Assist in other ad-hoc analyses and presentations
    • Extracting financial data from various reporting systems within the Company

    Qualifications

    Preferred Education and/or Experience:                                                             

    • Bachelor’s degree from top-tier university in finance, economics or business related major (or similar discipline with analytical bias)
    • Two to Four (2 – 4) years of experience in financial analysis with a proven track record of success
    • e-Commerce and or Logistics experience a plus

     Skills and Knowledge:

    • Excellent financial modeling and data management skills
    • Strong oral and written communication skills, with an ability to interact with all levels of the organization
    • Basic understanding of financial statements and US GAAP
    • Detailed and analytically oriented
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
    • Exceptionally bright, self-motivated and intellectually curious

     Computer/Software/Application Proficiency:                                                   

    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
    • Microsoft SQL and/or NetSuite software a plus
